How does the Automatic Renewal Program work?

When you enroll in the Automatic Renewal Program, NCTE securely stores your credit card information. Your credit card will automatically be charged on an annual basis, then, to ensure your membership and journal subscriptions never expire! You won't receive renewal notices, either -- NCTE will simply contact you before we charge your credit card each year.

How do I sign up for the Automatic Renewal Program?

Enrolling in the Automatic Renewal Program is easy! When you purchase or renew your membership and journal subscriptions in the NCTE Online Store, you'll be given the option to enroll in the Automatic Renewal Program. The following screen will appear during the checkout process. Simply check the box and select "Continue."

If it is not near your renewal time, you can still enroll in the Automatic Reneal Program!  Simply visit the "Automatic Renewals" tab in your My Account pages and click on the "Enroll" button beside each item you would like Automatically Renew.

Finally, you can also enroll in the Automatic Renewal Program by calling NCTE Customer Service at 877-369-6283.

What products are eligible for the Automatic Renewal Program?

NCTE memberships and journal subscriptions are eligible for the Automatic Renewal Program.

Green Journals (Online Only)
Journals (Online and Print)

Please note: Comprehensive Journal Subscriptions are not eligible for Automatic Renewal.

Can I renew for two years at a time through the Automatic Renewal Program?

Enrolling in the Automatic Renewal Program means that your credit card will be charged annually for your membership and subscriptions. Thus, the program only works on a yearly basis and you cannot at this time renew for multiple years.

Can I pay by PO and still take part in the Automatic Renewal Program?

The Automatic Renewal Program only accepts credit card payments, so you cannot pay by PO and enroll in Automatic Renewal at the same time. If you would like to purchase an event registration by PO and also set up Automatic Renewal for your membership, simply complete two separate transactions.

Can I set up some of my current journals for Automatic Renewal but not all of them?

Of course! During the online checkout process, you will have the option to remove the Automatic Renewal Program from any items you would like to renew manually each year. Simply click on "remove" beside each journal or membership on the "Order Summary and Payment Information" screen.

You can also simply visit the "Automatic Renewals" tab in your My Account pages and click on the "Cancel" option beneath each item you would like cancel your Automatic Renewals for.

Finally, you can remove Automatic Renewal from select subscriptions by contacting NCTE Customer Service at 877-369-6283.

I enrolled in the Automatic Renewal Program but now I'd like to renew my membership and journals manually each year. How do I cancel Automatic Renewal?

You can cancel the Automatic Renewal Program at any time by calling NCTE Customer Service at 877-369-6283.

You can also simply visit the "Automatic Renewals" tab in your My Account pages and click on the "Cancel" option beneath each item you would like cancel your Automatic Renewals for.
