This Web seminar will focus on an authentic form of assessment in the English language arts curriculum-the High School and Middle School Roundtable.  The Roundtable is a school wide end of the semester assessment initiative and at the conclusion of this 60-minute session participants will know what the teacher needs to do to prepare, what the students need to do, sample work and what is expected of visitors.  The session includes video footage from middle and high school roundtables.

All presenters teach at East Side Community High school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
