What is Green Membership?
Make a long-term impact on the environment by receiving electronic and online-only versions
of NCTE materials and journals. Click here for more benefits of going green.
NCTE offers you the best in resources and support materials
to help deepen your understanding of successful instruction, assessment, and
evaluation practices in reading, writing, English Studies, and the language arts.
The Council's teacher-centered professional resources will help you zero in on the key issues
confronting you and your students in today’s classrooms.
Individual Membership is for K-University teachers,
administrators, and other education professionals.
The NCTE Student Membership rate is open to students learning to become professional educators and/or
who are employed in a paid teaching
position on less than a half time basis. Student members do not vote in NCTE elections, but are eligible to subscribe to journals and other benefits at reduced prices.
Eligibility for the student rate is capped at
five years (with the exception of members who are able to demonstrate that they are full-time
students and are not engaged in paid teaching more than one-half time).
Because of the
reduced rates for Student membership, no refunds can be made for cancellation after membership
has begun. Please contact customer service at email@example.com with any questions you may have.
Please make a selection above to move to Step 2.
